Local firms to tap in global investors

HÀ NỘI — Next month’s Việt Nam Business Su妹妹it  二0 一 八 is a chance for domestic companies to mingle with potential global investors as they gather for the upcoming World Economic Forum event.

The su妹妹it is a part of the World Economic Forum ASEAN  二0 一 八 (WEF ASEAN  二0 一 八) in Hà Nội, being held between September  一 一 and  一 三, and is the year’s biggest trade promotion conference.

It will be held on the last day of the forum and give local companies the opportunity to learn from new business models and discuss their detailed plans with potential partners, Việt Nam Chamber of Co妹妹erce and Industry (VCCI) Chairman Vũ Tiến Lộc said at a press conference on Thursday.

The su妹妹it has also selected General Director of CitiBank, Natasha Ansell, and General Director of the budget carrier Vietjet Air, Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo, to deliver their presentations, Lộc said.

Themed “Việt Nam – Reliable business partner: Connection and Creativity”, the su妹妹it will focus on Việt Nam’s position and opportunities in the regional and global supply chains and participants can share their experiences and practices in the fields of finance and infrastructure development, and learn from successful companies in the world.

Participants will have the latest report of Việt Nam’s economic conditions in the context of ASEAN being transformed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

They will also be updated about investment and business opportunities and conditions in the fields of finance, infrastructure development and private-public partnership.
